Position Summary: Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain clinical diagnostic x-ray films to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and disorders by computerized tomography. Provide direct care to patients of all ages.
Provide patient/care services based on identified needs/developmental level for all patient populations checked below; care/services may include assessment of individual patient need; incorporation of age-specific characteristics in patient education, communication, and planning; provision of individualized care relevant to patient needs; and recognition, monitoring, and provision of interventions as appropriate. x Infancy (0-12 mos.), x Toddler (13 mos. - 4 yrs.), x Child (5-9 yrs), x Adolescent (10-17 yrs), x Adult(18-65yrs), x Geriatric (65 yrs)
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology. Must hold Radiation Operator Certificate from the Kentucky Radiation Operators Program. Registered in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Registry eligible. One year of patient care experience post graduation from Radiology program preferred and BLS certification.
