CAREGIVER ASSISTANT FULL TIME BRECKENRIDGE, MN
A caregiver assistant is a person who is employed in Nursing Home who is under the supervision of a Certified Nursing Assistant or Registered/LPN Nurse to assist with care duties for residents related to activities of daily living at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Activitiesofdaily_living of needs. The role of caregiver is a compliment to the functions and duties of CNA and Nurses as viable asset in caring for residents direct care needs.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
Respond to call light and provides needs for residents within the scope of unregistered/unlicensed staff.
Transporting residents to activities and therapy.
Interact and participate with residents.
Wash hands and face of residents prior to and after meals.
Cut meat, butter bread and apply condiments to resident’s plates at meal time.
Place residents at table for meals, snacks, and activities.
Apply clothing protectors and napkins to residents that need assistance.
Provides light snacks for the residents from items stocked by dietary department.
Prompt and provide ques for residents to eat.
Light cleaning of residents Kitchenette and Dining area.
Prepares tables for resident meal delivery from dietary department.

2. Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
3. Ability to follow direction
4. Ability to operate a variety of equipment; dishwasher, stove, oven, vacuum cleaner etc.
