Description

This application is for consideration to enroll in a CNA class at CHI St. Francis Health. If selected, CHI St. Francis Health will pay for the enrollment fee associated with the class. Students will be responsible for the $160 exam fee.

The next CNA class is scheduled to start: Depends on intrest/availabilty level.

A mandatory meeting will be held on prior to the class start date:date to be determined. Classes are limited to 10 students, the 10 students for this class will be determined from this meeting.

There is not a charge for the CNA class provided by CHI St. Francis Health if you agree to work for CHI St. Francis Health following successfully passing the class and exam. There is an up front $160 fee for the exam that CHI St. Francis Health will reimburse following 90 days of employment.

Certified Nurse Assistant Job Description:

Job Summary/Job Purpose

Provides for the daily cares of residents in the nursing home by performing the following duties:

Key Responsibilities

  1. Bathing and dressing residents.

  2. Assist with preparation of food and feeding of residents.

  3. Resident’s laundry.

  4. Documenting care and activities.

  5. Performs housekeeping duties for the residents.

  6. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skill, Knowledge or Abilities critical to this role:

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed.

2. Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

3. Ability to maintain high level of accuracy when documenting cares.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

a. Nursing Assistant/Registered: Minnesota Registration required upon start. Ability to read, write and follow instructions. Meet physical job demands and reliable for scheduled shift.
