CHI Franciscan Health - Highline Medical Center is hiring! Our Oncology department has 28 beds. The RN to patient ratio averages 4 patients per registered nurse, practicing in a care team model with certified nursing assistants. Our Oncology Interdisciplinary team is made up of skilled surgeons, medical hematologists-oncologists and radiation oncologists, nurse navigators and other oncology experts. We are most proud of our compassionate and exceptional quality care.

The leadership team in the Oncology Department is comprised of a RN Director, RN Clinical Manager and RN Educator. Combined, these leaders have over 100 years of oncology nursing and leadership experience and they truly enjoy mentoring and developing staff members.

Job Summary:

You will provide care to oncology/hematology patients. Implementing and assessing the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams and the patient and family.


Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred

  • One year of medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred

  • Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required

  • Basic Life Support certification is required
