REGISTRAR LEAD (Tumor Registry) Full Time - First Shift (2510003009)



The Tumor Registrar is responsible for follow-up procedures and limited abstracting. He/she is also responsible for making a registry folder, accessioning procedures, and under the direction of the oncology data manager completing portions of the registry abstract on each case. As experience allows, the person in this position will be allowed to perform more complex abstracts and gain experience that will qualify her/him for the next level in Tumor Registry.




  • High School graduate, with typing and computer skills.

  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology with a good understanding of medical terminology.


  • At least one year of work experience in a health care setting, preferably in the Tumor Registry.

  • Good secretarial skills are preferred.

  • Experience as an oncology data assistant is beneficial.


  • Personal computer, oncology software system, typewriter, laser jet printer, digital printer, fax machine, telephone and copier.
