I. Key Responsibilities
excellent customer service performance and displays a positive attitude and

delivers patient care in a caring and respectful manner, using the Respiratory
/ Nursing process.
provides and delivers diagnostic testing and therapeutic treatments
consideration to age specific and individual needs of the patients (neonates,
pediatric, adult and geriatrics).
therapy as scheduled: uses priority of care policy as guide, requests
assistance as dictated by need, and completes timely and accurate
and performs diagnostic tests as ordered. Advises and notifies physician, when
prescribed therapy is contraindicated, when the patient is unable to complete
the test and for clarification of order (incomplete, unusual dose,
inappropriate to client).
concern for patient outcome, documents and /or communicate to the appropriate
staff: effectiveness of therapy, patient’s tolerance, compliance by patient,
any noted adverse reactions/complications and test results.
Other duties as assigned.

I. Job Requirements/Qualifications
North Dakota Registry or Certification in Respiratory Therapy according to the
ND State Board of Respiratory Therapy or Current North Dakota RN License.
Tech – Current ND Registered Nurse License, or Current North Dakota Paramedic
License Nationally Registered.
certification: essential / required for all areas.
preferred for those performing Cardiac Stress tests.
organizational and prioritization skills Ability to work alone.
of meeting the physical and emotional demand of the position. Ability to
complete cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapy as prescribed by physician.
