ITS Performance Reporting Analyst


Key Functions:

The ITS Performance Reporting Analyst is accountable for accurate reporting and analysis of ITS performance data that drive the continuous improvement of IT services across the CHI enterprise. This position contributes to a function which provides a strategic advantage and is key in furthering the mission of CHI into the next decade.

The IT Performance Analytics function provides information insights and solutions to greatly improve IT services and effectiveness. This includes providing daily, interactive operational dashboards, cost and performance data on demand, and most importantly predictive analytics to proactively improve services, customer experience and patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Delivers data reporting and analytics in alignment with goals determined for the IT Performance Analytics organization

  • Works with assigned stakeholders across the enterprise to deliver accurate and timely performance reporting

  • Proactively works to understand issues and opportunities where applied data analytics may provide a return on investment; escalates opportunities

  • Develops recommendations and carries out assignments to mine disparate, large data sources in order to develop predictive and repeatable analytics that drive IT service efficiencies and effectiveness (such as reduced down time, increased customer satisfaction)

  • Delivers next generation reporting capabilities including interactive mobile (iOS, Android) and cloud based solutions

  • Delivers near real-time IT performance reports and predictive analytics based on personas, locations or individuals

  • Establishes relationships and works closely with internal Business Intelligence (BI) partners to leverage tools and data across business functions and processes

  • Maintains relationships with external service providers to gain access to data and to drive performance improvements

  • Partners with technology vendors to use state of the art technology

  • Educates assigned stakeholders on data science capabilities and the use of data analytics and tools that drive performance outcomes


Skills, Requirements and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work related experience

  • 4 years of relevant quantitative and qualitative analytics experience

  • 3 years experience in developing and maintaining strong, productive relationships with business clients

  • Programming skills (MS SQL, Oracle , Java)

  • Skills in analytical, graphical software (such as Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire, or Power BI)

  • Experience in a managed service (outsourced) IT environment

  • Strong communication skills, analytical ability, decisiveness, judgment, and the ability to work effectively with clients, IT management, staff and vendors

  • Ability to influence and challenge the status quo

  • Ability to develop creative solutions to highly complex problems

  • Ability to deliver results in a highly collaborative environment
