Job Summary/Essential Duties:
Provides technical assistance to surgical team during the peri-operative process.
Performs and ensures safe, knowledgeable age-specific patient care in a holistic manner.
Works collaboratively with other health team members to coordinate patient care needs.
Performs value-added activities that result in positive financial performance and customer satisfaction.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
Completion of Surgical Technology training at an accredited school.
Assistive responsibilities under direct supervision of surgeon, certificate on file preferred.
Certification as a Surgical Technologist within 12 months of hire.
BLS certification within 3 months of employment.
