JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the organization and operation of the Supply Chain Management office. Supports Supply Chain Management Vendor Policy and provides enforcement of the policy as required. Acts as a support to Supply Chain Technicians and Specialist as needed. Provides clerical and administrative support to the Supply Chain Director and Manager/Supervisors as assigned per facility. Utilizes both inventory and charging systems to meet departmental objectives.
Responsible for business support functions of the Supply Chain Department.
Enters department requisitions as needed.
Assists Supply Chain Technicians to process STAT or emergency orders by acting as a liaison with Corporate Buyers.
Performs miscellaneous product research in support of Supply Chain Technicians and departments as needed.
Coordinates submission of new Lawson item request to corporate contracting department.
Responsible for maintaining and keeping current consignment agreements for the facility in a electronic format.
Works directly with Accounts Payable (A/P) in problem resolution and Proof of Deliveries (POD).
Assists in the cross training of new employees.
Participates in all department staff meetings and taken an active part in unit and carious committees as assigned.
Works closely with all departments to ensure a smooth flow of supplies and communication between them and the Supply Chain Management department.
Provides clerical support to the Director Supply Chain Management and others as required.
Primary point of contact for Supply Chain Management internal and external customers. Promotes a positive department image.
Works directly with Supply Management Team in developing communication to both internal and external customers as needed.
Responsible for management of the Recall process. Work directly with both the Supply Chain Management team and end users to ensure that the product(s) in question are verified as having been ordered in the past. IF item is location they coordinate the removal and return of said product in accordance with the vendor instruction and document all such actions for future inquiries.
Uses Lawson ERP as required to assist Supply Chain Technicians and Specialist in the areas of Requisitions, PO and Receiving.
Maintain Data Integrity, STAR/HBOC, Pyxis and Handheld systems.
On a weekly basis monitors REPTrax to monitor site activity and vendor compliance.

Education: High School education, GED or equivalent
Experience: At least one year Data Entry experience preferred. Microsoft Excel and Word – Intermediate Level required. Lawson MMIS experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements: Performs tasks which require hand/eye coordination. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time; up to 6 hours.
Skills: Must possess ability to comprehend advanced computerized hospital inventory and charge systems. Must possess good communication skills, able to deal effectively with all types of people. Must possess ability to type and use 10 key calculator. Must possess good organizational skills, with ability to work independently to meet departmental goals.
