COORDINATOR LATINO HEALTH, ST VINCENT LITTLE ROCK, ADMINISTRATION, FULL TIME, DAYS
JOB SUMMARY: A medical assistant trained to provide public/community health services in clinics, homes and in the community; and to provide community and client centered counseling, education and information concerning illnesses to the Latino community
Education: Completion of Medical Assistant program or equivalent training. Certification preferred.
Experience: None Required
Physical Requirements: Able to perform moderately difficult manipulative skills and tasks which require hand-eye coordination; see objects far away; hear normal sounds with some background noise; concentrate on fine detail with some interruption; attend to task/function for 45-60 minutes at a time.
Skills: Bilingual Spanish/English ; Experience interacting within multicultural environment; Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills; Ability to display cultural sensitivity and understanding; Strong organizational and time-management skills; Outgoing, personable, and with customer focus with flexibility to meet the client's and participants' needs; Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Publisher.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and englishand be able to relate effectively to individuals from different educational and socioeconomic levels.
