ITS Site Manager


Key Functions

Manages the relationship with MBO (market based organization) leadership and overall delivery of ITS services to local customers. Understands the specific needs and demands on the ITS organization for their specific MBO(s).


  • Provides tactical liaison service to local business and clinical management teams

  • Responsible for formulating and managing, with RCIOs and where appropriate, the MBO ITS annual budgets

  • Coordinates MBO-specific initiatives

  • Partners and interfaces with ITS functional management

  • Provides feedback regarding local functional employee attendance, customer service, technical performance and behavior (for performance reviews and in-the-moment as needed)

  • Works with functional area management to set or modify work plan priorities

  • Partners with EPMO to deliver appropriate service levels on projects

  • Works with the Client Relations and Vendor Management group on LITED delivery, service level coordination and communication

  • Participate in Enterprise Advisory Groups

  • Communicates and advocates the use of ITS escalation processes to local MBO management

  • Leads change by communicating and supporting ITS strategies

  • Attends local site meetings as the local ITS leadership representative as appropriate

  • Supports ITS Security initiatives

  • Responsible initiating, reviewing, approving and managing demand management requests

  • Acts in project management role for appropriate size work efforts and MBO initiatives including assessment of business requirements, development of timelines and scheduling of resources and tasks

  • Makes recommendations to operations leadership on future needs for systems and on transitions to CHI standard system.

  • Provides leadership and recommendations to operations on the effective integration and utilization of installed systems and capabilities.

  • Works to achieve optimal customer experience by understanding and navigating complex ITS and enterprise processes and setting appropriate customer expectations.


Skills, Requirements, and Certifications

(Includes specific or unique technical skills / knowledge / experience)

  • Bachelor of Science degree in related field or may substitute an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 7 years’ experience in IT required

  • 4 years in a leadership role required

  • Strong knowledge of Clinical. Business, and IT Relationship Management in a hospital setting required

  • Knowledge and experience in a Matrix managed Shared Services environment

  • Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements pertinent to healthcare providers

  • Excellent Analytical and problem solving skills
