Job Summary:

Provide mental health services and contribute to the design and delivery of high quality, cost effective, values-based patient care for our patients.

Essential Duties:

  • Participate in and provide psychotherapy (individual and/or group) services in accordance with patients’ and providers’ needs, with flexibility to provide services at different facilities and times, as clinically needed and under the supervision of a Clinical Director.

  • Communicate accurate and pertinent information to patient care providers and other members of the care delivery team to facilitate effective and efficient patient care.

  • Participates in quality care initiatives within clinic

  • Participate and contribute to facility initiatives pertaining to improved coordination of care between mental health and primary care providers.

  • Prepare medical record entries as required by facility policies, medical staff by-laws and regulatory authorities.

  • Participate in medical staff/hospital committees as appropriate.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff and the public.

  • Ability to demonstrate effective time management, office and departmental organization, exercising good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to use discretion with confidential data that may impact staff and operation of the facility.

  • Facilitate patient education and maintain positive patient relations.

Must live close enough to the facility to provide timely care for patients

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education:

  • Terminal degree in Psychology from an accredited training program is required.

  • Must be able to independently provide psychotherapy services, individual and/or group, without requiring direct clinical supervision in order for services to be billed.

  • Experience: Two-plus years of experience in field of practice is preferred.

  • License/Certification: Must currently possess a non-restricted Arkansas license in applicant’s chosen field. Must obtain sufficient CEU hours to maintain active license throughout time of employment.
