Clinical Pharmacist, Pharmacy,Jewish Hospital ,Days,Full-time
Under supervision of the administrative director and
managers, performs all duties necessary to provide for the effective daily
operation of all departmental dispensing and pharmaceutical care
services. Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
to promote wellness, maintain current health, and/or intervene in acute or
chronic illness. She/He works to promote the compliance with established
policies within the Department of Pharmacy and the Pharmacy and Therapeutics
Committee. She/He serves as a mentor and educator for staff and
students. She/He develops positive relationships in satisfying the needs
of internal and external customers. Supervises support staff in all work
performed. Demonstrates competence to proved pharmaceutical care for
neonatal (birth-discharge), pediatric (birth-11 years), adolescent (12-18
years), adult (19-65 years), geriatric (66 years and over) patients.
She/He supports and participates in the institutional mission of providing
quality patient care, education and research
Licensed by the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy required
Registered pharmacist or eligible for registration inKentucky.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy isrequired. Doctor of Pharmacy degree is preferred.
- Hospital experience is desirable, residency preferred .
