Description

The

Rehab Aide assumes a support role in the delivery of therapy services. The aide

will prepare the department for patient treatment, i.e. responsible for the

proper cleaning of equipment and maintaining adequate stock levels in treatment

areas. The aide will also prepare the patient for treatment as well as,

providing assistance to the therapist as needed in patient treatment programs.

The aide may also be responsible for administering treatment programs under the

verbal, visual or manual supervision of the Physical Therapist and/or Physical

Therapist’s Assistant.

Qualifications

Six months experience in a health care facility preferred.

Good communication skills are helpful, good time management skills.

High school diploma or GED. New graduates accepted in this

position.
