Therapist-Mental Health II, Adult Psychiatric Outpatient Program, Our Lady of Peace, Days, PRN


Our Lady of Peace recently celebrated being named one of the

largest private, non-profit psychiatric/mental health hospitals. The facility

offers the most comprehensive array of psychiatric treatment and substance

abuse services in the state, including specialized programs and services along

the full continuum of care, including inpatient, partial hospitalization and

intensive outpatient programming for all ages, including children, adolescents,

Our Lady of Peace is currently hiring for a Mental Health

Therapist II.

This position is responsible

for providing direct clinical services to child, adolescent, adult and/or

geriatric patients and families to address interpersonal and family systems

issues that cause emotional distress, as well as to provide discharge

planning. These include: group therapy; family therapy; individual

therapy; if certified, sexual offender therapy; if credentialed, play therapy

or EMDR; psycho education, discharge planning and coordinating with community,

government and mental health agencies to obtain aftercare services necessary to

reduce and prevent relapse.


Education /Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):

Master’s Degree in Social Work or other related field


Current independent Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social

Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed

Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), in the state of Kentucky required.

Ability to complete Healthcare Provider/Basic Life Support

and safe crisis management training and to perform as needed required.

Experience (requiredand preferred):

A minimum of 4 years of experience in a clinical setting
