Director, Business Development
In conjunction with Vice President, Regional Operations (RVP) and Director, Operations (DO), participates in the design and implementation of sales and marketing plans for all products/service offerings, consistent with market analysis, reflecting referral source goals for accounts covered by Client Relations Executives, Care Transition Nurses and Client Relations Coordinators.
Responsible for census development through the implementation of external and internal sales, marketing, customer relations programs with both existing and new accounts.
Works with RVP, other Directors of Business Development and location Directors of Operations. Together identify and recommend development of new product/service/niche markets and offerings, as well as current product/service enhancements.
Assists with driving achievement of CHI Health at Home organizational goals. Leads, manages and develops the sales and customer relations staff to accomlish referral and financial goals, in support of providing high quality clinical outcomes with a high level of patient satisfaction.
Sets performance goals and monitors results. Establishes/manages productivity system for staff and ensures the organization maximizes the clinical value of associates.
Creates opportunities for continuous improvement of staff performance, development, and morale through fair and accurate performance evaluations on time per organizational policy, daily coaching and mentoring to increase organizational performance.
Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree; Business or RN preferred.
Two years of experience managing health care sales or customer relations staff, or as a Care Transition Nurse in home health care.
Strong sales knowledge, skills and abilities. Proven track record of selling to physicians, managed care staff, and other health care professionals
Basic knowledge of the healthcare industry, Medicare, managed care, insurance reimbursement and accounting practices.
Knowledge of contracting.
