Phlebotomist, Laboratory, Saint Joseph Mount Sterling, Days, Temporary
Position Summary: Performs a variety of clerical duties and
coordinates communications between departments. Performs blood collections from patients
and assumes responsibility for safety and comfort of patients, following
established standards and practices.
Provides direct patient care to patients of all ages.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
education plus certification by a nationally recognized phlebotomy
certification agency. Previous
experience in a healthcare setting and knowledge of Microsoft Windows and
Microsoft Office is preferred.
