Job Summary:

This job is responsible for participating in the planning, coordinating and implementing of strategic digital and consumer-facing marketing technology initiatives for CHI Franciscan Health’s (CHI-FH) Marketing & Communications Department. An incumbent works closely with CHI Franciscan Health administration, physicians, providers and community, as well as colleagues in the Marketing and Communications department, in support of the organization’s business and marketing goals within the assigned functional area.

Work includes, but is not limited to: 1) coordinating and implementing strategies for, all micro sites, mobile apps, digital marketing efforts including SEM (SEO, PPC, display, social advertising) and social media channels in support of strategic business objectives; 2) working with agency partners and freelancers to coordinate projects, and 3) supporting all virtual product lines (urgent care, telemetry) working with administrative and physician leadership to achieve strategic business objectives.

Essential Duties:

  • Performs Interactive Marketing activities in support of digital marketing initiatives

  • Develops and implements, with management oversight, the CHI-FH Virtual Urgent Care and other marketing/communications plan as assigned.

  • Performs project management/coordination activities as assigned

  • Oversees the work of internal and external vendors to facilitate compliance with CHI-FH standards and procedures.

Education/Work Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, Communications, Public Relations or a related field and two years of related work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities. Strong skills in written and verbal communications is required. Work experience involving search engine marketing, social media and Microsoft Office Suite is required.

  • Work experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.


  • Current driver’s license valid in the State of Washington or other evidence of equivalent mobility
