Job Summary

CHI Franciscan Health is a non-profit health system headquartered in Tacoma, WA. Tacoma is 30 miles south of Seattle. Franciscan's mission focuses on creating healthier communities, including caring for the poor and under served. We are actively recruiting for an ARNP to join our Perioperative Services Home.

The Provider will proactively identify patients with multiple comorbid conditions or chronic ailments and manage them prior to their surgery. The goal is to medically optimize patient before surgery with the goal to decrease their readmission rate to the hospital. Will maintain a patient case load and have previous work experience in hospital, orthopedic or internal medicine. The job's home base is Tacoma and will service multiple sites in alignment with patient demands/needs

Education/Experience:

Master's degree in Nursing. Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Board Certified as an ARNP. Previous hospitalist experience is preferred or experience in an acute care environment.

License:

  • Current State RN/ARNP license with prescriptive authority.

  • CPR certification.

  • AANP certification.

  • ANCC certification.

  • BCLS required.
