TheWoodlands Hospital

A primary and secondary care hospital serving North Harris and

Montgomery counties. Clinical services include cardiovascular services,

diagnostic imaging, women’s services (digital mammography and bone density

studies), neurosciences, pediatric care (Newborn and Level II nurseries) and

surgery, pathology and pulmonary services, and sleep disorders. Clinical

affiliations include The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center’s

Radiation Treatment Center, and Texas Children’s Hospital.

Position Summary:

Enhances the lines of communication between referring physicians

and the specialists. This includes developing, managing, and supporting relationships,

coordinating and disseminating information, acting as a key resource for

internal and external physicians as well as identifying new business

opportunities with referring physicians. also Establishes a high level of

customer service by facilitating referrals, providing information on new

clinical programs and services, clinical trials and the introduction of new

physicians.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Foster relations tofacilitate collaboration for sponsoring, hosting, or participation ineducational/promotional outreach events.

  2. Serve as a conduit forcommunication between administration, staff, MDs and other departments.Be a reliable resource and point of contact to increase knowledge,awareness and involvement of program activities and strategies.

  3. Develop and liaisesuccessful partnerships to create outreach programs and opportunities within Houston and the surroundingcommunities.

  4. Develop and participatein community programs and other events.

  5. Create, manage and staffnew education and outreach programs. Manage all aspects from proposals,staff, marketing and content creation.

Qualifications

Education and Licensure:

Bachelor’s

Degree required.

Health Coach experience or certification Preferred

Athletic Trainer, Registered Dietitian, , Kinesiologist, Exercise Physiologist Preferred

Minimum Experience:

Three

(3) years of related work experience

Minimum Knowledge,Skills, and Abilities:

Organizational skills,

customer service, community event coordination

Microsoft Office efficiency
