CNA - OR
Collaborates with the O.R. Nurse in providing patient care within the O.R. setting.
1. Performs all competencies listed in Job Specific Competency
Checklist for O.R. Nurse Assistant.
2. Transport patient to and from the OR and/or PAR.
3. Is responsible for cleaning the operating rooms between cases and terminal cleaning at days end.
4. Does monthly OR cleaning.
5. Transports specimens to pathology as necessary.
6. Stock rooms with linen.
7. Stocks utility rooms with necessary supplies.
Current North Dakota CNA Certification
Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support)
High School or GED
Experience preferred, but not required.
