Medical Staff Coordinator, Medical Staffing


Position Summary: To work collaboratively and at the directionof the Medical Staff Clinical Services Manager and the Medical Staff leaders inorder to assist with Medical Staff projects for St. Joseph Healthcare at bothcampuses. Responsibilities include, butnot limited to: meeting with Medical Staff Clinical Manager and Medical staffleaders to assist with activities; facilitate and maintain mutuallycooperative/supportive relationship with physicians and SJH team; becomecertified as "super user" of Advanced Clinical Information System(ACIS) and provide one-on-one physician training; establish goals, objectives,standards of performance; policies and procedures for all medical staff departments,divisions, etc.; update and maintain SJHC physician orders database to promotebest practices and ensure compliance with SJHC pharmacy policies and othersystem wide initiatives, maintenance of all records, reports, statistics orreports relating to special projects; assist with compliance with JCAHO,National Patient Safety Goals, and/other regulatory standards; and performsother duties as assigned by the Medical Staff Clinical Services Manager,Medical Staff leaders


Requirements: Must have a at least 5 years of healthcare related experience that includescollaboration with physicians promoting best practices. Experience in qualitymanagement or projects development is beneficial. Is able to perform job with advanced skills which reflectsindependence and accountability for program goals, objectives, policies,procedures, and standards. Computerskills will be required.
