TRANSPORTER (Central Transport) PRN: 11a-7p Weekends

Description

The Clinical Transporter assists nursing units, outpatient registration and the Emergency Dept. with the transport of supplies, equipment, specimens, blood, and patients.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of high school or equivalent (GED) required.

  • Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant class preferred.

Experience:

  • None required;

  • CNA/nursing student preferred

Licensure or Certification:

  • None

Equipment/Skills:

  • Familiarity with beepers and telephones.

  • Good communication and organizational skills.
