GENERAL SUMMARY :

Provides human resource

support services to management and employees with the purpose of maximizing

the effectiveness of business and human resource processes that promote the

organization’s strategic objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Provides humanresources support to employees and managers to ensure consistent application ofpolicies and procedures.

  • Assists withadvising management on appropriate resolution of Employee Relations issues. Drafts discipline letters.

  • Identifies legalrequirements and reporting regulations and ensures policies, procedures, andreporting are in compliance.

  • Accessesinformation, generates reports, interprets and provides analysis of informationgathered.

  • Builds strongwork relationships and promotes teamwork with staff to deliver on key goals.

  • Coordinates jobdescription review and revisions.

  • Workscollaboratively with other departments (Payroll, CHI Support Center, etc.) toassist in resolving employment issues.

  • Conducts newemployee orientation.

  • Assists withemployee relations projects, including employee recognition events and theemployee survey.

  • Assists with HRprojects as needed.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLSAND ABILITIES REQUIRED :

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related fieldrequired.

  • 1-2 years Human Resources experience required.

  • Ability to work and communicate with diverse backgrounds.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thought processes.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Must maintain confidentiality, use sound judgment, and discretion.
