Mercy College of Health Sciences has openings for adjuncts to teach and oversee clinical rotations for students.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring students receive the appropriate education by teaching, guiding and advising students during clinicals.

  • Providing constructive feedback to students enabling them to improve their clinical skills.

  • Reviewing and grading assignments as needed.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should possess:

  • Master’s degree in nursing.

  • Two years experience in a clinical environment.

  • Current and valid RN licensure.

  • Teaching experiences appropriate to the teaching responsibility.

  • Demonstrated ability in managing, leading or training others.

  • Demonstrated ability to utilize appropriate, varied and innovative classroom/clinical/field teaching strategies.
