Mercy College of Health Sciences has an exciting opportunity! We are seeking candidates for the Director of College Admissions. In this position, you will provide oversight and leadership to the Admissions team with promoting and recruiting students to Mercy College. Specific duties include:
Developing admission’s organizational strategies by providing information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing objectives in line with organizational objectives.
Maintaining a continuing flow of quality applicants and transfers to the College by analyzing trends in enrollment and marketing activities, presenting new sales strategies for recruitment and admission activities. Collaborates with Marketing in management of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Developing, implementing, and supervising the College’s recruitment, communication, admission process and policies for prospective and admitted students including territory and prospect management plans.
Developing effective working relationships with other college departments; working closely with Deans, Program Chairs and Marketing to enhance recruitment.
Hiring, developing, training and motivating staff to ensure optimal performance.
We are looking for applicants with the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education, marketing, or related fields.
Five years’ experience in recruiting, marketing, human resources or student admissions.
Two years demonstrated leadership and/or management experience supervising professional staff.
Demonstrated leadership in developing and implementing recruitment or marketing initiatives utilizing information analysis to achieve organizational objectives.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines.
Excellent relationship building skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
