Catholic Health Initiatives Communications Coordinator-Training in HOUSTON, Texas

Responsible for developing, writing, editing and/or coordinating the production of a broad variety of communication pieces, including proposals, brochures, talking points, event materials, PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, reports and general correspondence. Support the communications for outreach and training activities provided by the System Training team. Assist in the organization of activities for the Super User Program.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English or technical field with coursework in communications, writing, training, or instructional design.
Minimum years in field previous to employment:
Two (2) years of related communications or training experience required
Preferred years in field previous to employment:
Strong team player; excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work independently and within a team structure to meet departmental objectives
Strong organizational skills in managing multiple priorities, attention to detail, and follow through as required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Conduct research, develop content, and prepare written communication products (i.e., newsletters, brochures, etc.).
Aggregate information from training team to develop communication packages for Super User training activities.
Serve as liaison between training department and operational owners to ensure understanding of program changes, activities and outreach.
Develop and manage end-users engagement surveys to facilitate improvements in training classes and programs.
Manage the communication for Epic Central application to ensure users are aware of any alerts that may impact clinicians and staff.
Manage the process for Epic enhancement communications; share updates on new launches, system enhancements, key features, etc.
Additional duties as assigned.
