Full Time 7p-7:30am
Provides patient care under the supervision of licensed staff, Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. Acts as a communication liaison by greeting all internal and external customers to proactively meet service requests and to promote positive customer relations.

High school diploma or GED required.
Requires certification from an approved nursing assistant course, previous experience as a nurse assistant, or one completed semester of healthcare related clinical experience.
BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
Maintains designated hospital competencies validated by the Competency Based Orientation (CBO) plan. Demonstrates a strong belief and behaviors consistent with the Saint Joseph HealthCare Mission and Core Values (Reverence, Integrity, Compassion and Excellence).
Reports to the manager. Responsible to the LPN or RN for delegated assignments. Daily contact is with co-workers, managers, social services, medical staff, students, clergy, patients, families, visitors, volunteers and the general public. May have contact with members of the Health Care Delivery team such as students, medical staff, physical therapy, respiratory, etc.
