Catholic Health Initiatives Radiology Technologist in LISBON, North Dakota
The radiologic technologist performs radiologic, fluoroscopic, electroencephalic (EEG), electrocardiographic (EKG), segmental blood pressures, DEXA and computerized tomography (CT) examinations on patients as prescribed by physicians to provide quality results regarding patient condition for diagnostic purposes. This position works with radiology students, works directly and in consultation with radiologists, and reports directly to the radiology manager.
Requires graduation from an approved school of radiological technology.
Current national registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
Current ND License required

Incumbent has access to restricted or confidential patient information and must comply with the terms of the LAHS Security Policies as it applies to their job role.
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
A good working knowledge of anatomy, understand principles of physics, electricity, methods of exposure to obtain clearly defined images.
Be able to set up and operate equipment.
Understand variations of anatomical postures.
Sufficient knowledge of psychology, patient care and sterile technique to deal with all types of patients and their varying conditions.
Ability to deal tactfully, using good judgment to reach quality decisions, with personnel, clients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, inspecting agencies, and the general public.
Environmental conditions include working with bio-hazardous material and chemicals. It also includes working with electrical instruments for operation and troubleshooting. Compliance with infection control, safety, and the hazardous communications program is required.
Physical senses of position require ability to see, hear, talk, and smell.
Must be able to push, pull, lift a minimum of 20 lbs
