Ensures processes and policies for the Revenue cycle are consistently being followed. Facilitates classroom instruction and on-site support for identified curriculum for physician office staff. Effectively presents and communicates educational information and insurance updates to physician office and physician billing office staff. Conducts routine audits to verify accuracy of office processes. Provide Practice Management System support.

  • Supports Director of Revenue Cycle as liaison to billing vendors

  • Develop internal variance reporting program utilizing practice management system automation

  • Provides appropriate classroom training on various computer applications by taking into consideration the unique abilities and learning styles of each student.

  • Travels to individual offices to provide at-your-elbow retraining and support

  • Maintains front desk training and collection guides

  • Mentors individuals on cash collection techniques

  • Presents educational materials in an effective and efficient manner at Revenue Integrity Meetings.

  • Evaluates training progress and competency of participants.

  • Effectively communicates training related issues and/or concerns with users and managers.

  • Conducts routine audits to verify accuracy of demographic and insurance registration and communicates findings in a professional manner.

  • Participates in curriculum development and prepares training and support materials.

  • Maintains expertise in computer applications as necessary to meet the educational and training needs of physician office staff.

  • Maintains and troubleshoots common problems relating to personal computers, portable computers, computer printers and AV equipment as used in training.

  • Effectively communicates with immediate supervisor regarding issues/concerns and recommends solutions.

  • Must have the heart of a teacher, be self- motivated and able to work independently.

  • Works off shifts as necessary to accommodate the work cycles of training participants.


Education/ Experience:

– Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3 years leadership experience OR minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experience


Qualifications: Medical knowledge including PPMS set up and training
