Mental Health Technician II, 3 North Adolescents Ages 12-18
Our Lady of Peace is currently hiring for a Full Time 7a-3p Mental Health Tech.
Our Lady of Peace recently celebrated being named one of the

a total of 220 beds. The facility offers the most comprehensive array of psychiatric
treatment and substance abuse services in the state, including specialized
programs and services along the full
continuum of care, including inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive
outpatient programming for all ages, including children, adolescents, and

3 North works with pediatric/adolescents from 12-18. These
patients have behavioral issues, such as high aggression, risk for suicide, or
an intellectual developmental delay.
Mental Health Tech: Provides delegated components of
nursing care to patients including monitoring, specimen collection,
psycho-education, assistance with activities of daily living and behavior
management in accordance with physician orders and established nursing policies
and procedures. Care provided is based
on defined standards of patient care and practice.
Minimum Requirements for Mental Health Tech 1:
High School Diploma or GED and
1 year social services experience required.
15 college credit hours required.
Minimum Requirements for Mental Health Tech 2:
2 years of social services experience with 1 year in direct
patient care experience required.
If 60 college credit hours, 1 year of direct patient care
If Bachelor’s degree in social services field, direct
patient care experience preferred.
