Description

Key Functions:

Analyzes, designs,

programs, tests and implements custom applications and interfaces. Makes

modifications to existing applications to achieve the objectives of assigned

projects in the most efficient manner. Maintains a detailed knowledge of each

of the assigned applications, systems and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes, designs and createscomplex program specifications or logic.

  • Confirms technical requirementsand set direction of the development of technical specifications.

  • Leads and sets direction oftesting processes and implementation of modifications and/or enhancementsto computer systems, sub-systems.

  • Develops customized reports andsystem extracts at an advanced level.

  • Ensures compliance with scopestatements, general and detailed statement of work. Scopes will includetime estimates for assigned projects.

  • Leads and sets direction fortest data and testing systems and sub-systems

  • Comprehensive understanding andability to support and implement changes to existing systems, proceduresand hardware configurations.

  • Ability to lead advancedanalysis, research, debugging and modifications or recommends formodifications to current systems to keep them operating in an efficientand effective manner, conforming to existing department standards.

  • Lead contributor to control andreach resolutions during emergencies of production system problems.

  • Sets direction for maintenanceand updates system documentation.

  • Develops complex interfacesutilizing reusable services at an expert level.

  • Provides Level 2 and 3 support.

  • Leads development of test plansand execution on interfaces.

  • Mentors and trains junioranalysts.

  • Additionaltasks/responsibilities as defined.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relatedfield or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5 – 7 years’ experience insupporting vendor platform required. (i.e. Clinical, Patient Management,web or enterprise general applications.)

  • PACS experience preferred.Primary roll is PACS and associated imaging applications support.

  • Knowledge of appropriateprogramming languages for various applications.

  • Healthcare experiencepreferred.
