Senior Financial Analyst - Payer Strategy


Job Summary: This position supports System Director of Payer Strategy by generating analytics and reporting to support contracting and payment compliance strategies.

Essential Position Expectations:

  1. Responsible for analytics related to new contracts and contract renewals.

  2. Responsible for monthly reporting of payment compliance recovery.

  3. Compiles annual budget and actual vs budget financial reporting for PSG.

  4. Serves as liaison to CHI and Trinity providing fee schedules and updates to be loaded in Payment Integrity Compass (PIC).

  5. Responsible for evaluating accuracy of variance reporting from PIC and notifying CHI and Trinity of corrective measure to eliminate false variances.

  6. Responsible for monthly analytical reports, including the payer yield report.

  7. Responsible for preparation of ad hoc reports on as needed basis.

  8. Incumbent has access to restricted or confidential patient information and must comply with the terms of the MHN Security Policies as it applies to their job role

  9. Assists with other duties as assigned.

  8. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel spreadsheet applications.

Education: Bachelor Degree required

Masters Degree in Business, Finance, or Healthcare Administration is preferred.

Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Financial Analyst.
